Biography
Thomas Tunstall Haverfield (1787–1866), usually credited as “Rev. T. T. Haverfield, B.D.,” was a Church of England clergyman and author who also did translation work for The Religious Tract Society in London. At some point he was the Rector of Goddington, Oxfordshire, but other than that little is known about his personal or professional life.
It’s a doggone shame when people who created something worthwhile, something that will last essentially forever to be enjoyed by other people, are themselves forgotten and fade into anonymity.
