The Bradys in the Everglades; or, The Strange Case of a Summer Tourist has the Bradys sent to Florida by the Secret Service to solve the disappearance of one of two Yankee owners of an orange grove plantation who raised the ire of local southerners by hiring a black overseer. The case involves the two detectives in a chase across Lake Okechabee and into the swamps of the Everglades after a gang of outlaws.
