Biography
Benjamin Barker (?–?) has a notable publishing history, having published nearly twenty works under his own name plus quite a few under the pseudonym
Egbert Augustus Cowslip, but about his personal biography little to nothing is known. Under the Amazon comment section for his book
Blackbeard; or, The Pirate of Roanoke there are some complaints about the historical accuracy of the book, but as he isn’t here to defend himself these comments don’t tell us much about him.
It’s a doggone shame when people who created something worthwhile, something that will last essentially forever to be enjoyed by other people, are themselves forgotten and fade into anonymity. If anyone has more information about this author, please contact us and share that information so we can, in turn, share it with the world.
